Holden is quitting local manufacture of Commodores in 2017. Today Toyota (represented by the man himself Akio Toyoda) pulled the plug on local manufacture as of 2017. Maybe 12,000 jobs across the three directly in 2 states will go, and probably up to 50,000 when you count all the upstream component manufacturers... It will be devastating to the Aussie economy.
