Twinspark
What about the refurb. store? Do you get educational discount with refurbs, too? Almost all my Apple kit comes from there these days.
Andy_Bangle
the kids educational discount is a much better deal than the refurb store. I get an 8-10% discount on Apple stuff and its still a long way from the educational discount.
Lussac
I had a look there first and the only similar spec one is £2069 for a Feb 2013 model and there is no ed discount available on those.
Andy_Bangle
The refurb store isn't much cop if you want want some specific, it's okay for the run of the mill stuff but for a top of the range MacBook you'll need to wait and bite quickly if/when one becomes available. CarMad
The refurb store is pretty good at the moment you can get 15/16% off and I've see a fair few reports of people getting brand new standard spec machines for some of it certainly Mac Minis this has happened. But its true if you want an exact spec you can sometimes wait days or weeks it all depends.
Twinspark
I tend to grab stuff when it's 20-40% discount, if you time your buying right, there are some really good deals to be had. (I recall my iPad 3 was 40% off original list price!)
