England v Peru

It was the most amount of skill on display from what I've read.

I didn't watch it as the borefest of Hodgson is now so bloody predictable.

I did read that we would have 0-3 down in the first half hour if we had been playing Italy. I also read that Glen Johnson once again demonstrated that he must have photographs of Roy in a compromising position with animals.

It was a decent warm up game, some good positives to take. But I expect most people who watched it aren't really capable of understanding that the game was an integral part of early phase training which means the preparation and objectives were somewhat different to what they'd have been for a competitive match.

But yes, Johnson is a liability defensively and when we come up against someone decent we will get ripped apart - because (as I said when it was announced) we don't have a single defensive midfielder in the squad.

And the paper aeroplane got easily the fourth biggest cheer of the evening.

Driving home from squash on Friday, and listening on 5Live.  The commentators were talking about the paper planes and how they could have someone's eye out.  Must have been straight after that incident!  Especially as they were bored, so were talking amongst themselves anyway.

Good old Roy.  I'm sure he'll see us right..................
