November holiday destinations

I have never been to any of them, but I am really keen to go to Cape Verde.

Portuguese (like Madeira) so expect the locals will be friendly, great surf and beaches. Also, pretty unspoilt and not full of yanks (no offence to them, but often the Caribbean for instance is).

We are off to Fuerteventura (Corralejo) this winter, but may do Verde next winter.

After being very ill last winter (hospital job) and finding out it was caused by a severe allergy to mould spores, we have decided that a winter sun hit is a necessity every year now .

So I will also be keen to see any recommendations (but not Sharm....really not my thing).

My folks go to Cape Verde & Madeira (about 20 times) and like both. Cape Verde is starting to become a package holiday destination from Europe whilst the other places are considered more high-end for europeans, saying that CV is still pretty unspoilt however, you need to choose your island/hotel carefully. Take a load colouring pencils, pencil sharpeners, paper, sweets etc with you and a visit a local school - you'll be welcomed with opened arms +++

Next stop for me is Azores however, the November weather isn't as great as CV.
