Andy_Bangle
A girl I work with has just done a two week driving holiday .. Miami ("it felt dangerous"), the Keys etc. sounds like my sort of multi-location holiday but not so much fun if you have kids with you. It's a great drive from Miami Beach down to Key Largo and Key West - lots of great (and a few wacky) places to stop, base yourself in Key Largo and everything is an easy drive, plenty for kids to do. However, once north of Miami there isn't much to do till you hit Orlando - apart from some fantastic beaches and boring interstates. Miami, the Keys, Cape C and Orlando is about it unless you do the drive over to Clearwater.
Waylander
Luke just how long are you there for? For 10 days you'll well to cram the parks in as well as the Discovery Cove (Dolphins - looks amazing but it was bloody expensive when you get 4 water parks including in the tix for free) As well as Nasa have you also added Seaworld? It is a fantastic day. Personally I wouldn't bother making the big drive for the airboats - it is fun but not worth the trip. The west coast (Sanibel/Clearwater) is lovely but bloody boring for the kids apart from the beach
Luke
14 days, mate. The Mrs is keen on the boat thing. There might be something local to us. You rated Seaworld?
Waylander
Definitely - it was brilliant with great shows. We all loved it. The aqua park nearby is really nice too. If memory serves there is an Alligator park a hour or so drive away
