Andy_Bangle
Hope no one has a holiday booked with them. Holiday booking company Lowcost Travelgroup has gone into administration, as uncertainty ahead of the EU referendum and the fall in the pound were blamed for its demise. The group has 27,000 holiday makers in resorts and 110,000 more with bookings. http://www.bbc.com/news/business-36810558
Mac
Ah was just sending this to some people. They've been good for people from what I've seen - lots of my mates that are into resort type travel have used them, banging on about how cheap they were. Tipex
Amusing they are trying to blame Brexit, it is a complete red herring, they've been in trouble for quite a while, they were struggling (and failing) to pay their bills over six months ago. We stopped taking bookings from them after they failed to pay us last November, they then convinced another local firm to do the work, none of which they ever got, nor ever will get, paid for, despite us warning them. Andy_Bangle
It appears the 110,000+ LCH customers will be inline for just £7.50 compensation as the company were based in Spain and not an ATOL member. Seems they ran a 60% off Sale the DAY before going pop, which caught a lot of people out. A good reason to book your holiday on a credit card, or at least the first £100. @Tipex - Glad you got out of that contact
