Gangle
Can anyone help me, I cannot get my seat position to be stored into a memory button, I have tried and tried but when pressing button 1 the seat persists into returning to factory position! Also the Automatic window opening and closing via key fob does not work, I have tried resetting function as per handbook but to no avail. I suspect my problems could be due to the disconnection of battery when fitting ipod. Any suggestions?
bearra
Hi Gangle Have exactly the same, windows don't work off key fob, and seat memory doesn't work well off the fob either. Found that the only way to get seat memory in was by pressing the unlock button really quickly when the manual says, if you press the button down for more than a second it doesn't work. But then again it generally only works once, pretty crap really! If you find the answer please let me know
CabGirl
My windows don't work off the keyfob either!
farhan
Sorry if I insult your intelligence here But you need to keep the lock button on the keyfob pressed for about 2 seconds before the roof and windows close automatically. Ignore me if this is what you are doing and it still does not work. Mine works fine. (not Splixx that is not a show off statement! )
Ari
They don't on the Cabrio for some reason, although they will if you put the key in the door and turn and hold (unlock direction drops them, lock direction raises them). A double twist (twist once and return then twist again immediately and hold over) will drop the roof, unlock dir for roof down and lock dir for roof up. bearra
Agreed Ari, Sorry VTEC didn't make it clear about the cabs... Still stuck on mystic memory seats though.
SPLiiX
LOL VTEC!!! Just a guess here: is there not 2 keys? A key one and a key 2 and you are using the wrong key for the memory? Just a thought

Gangle
Electric seat problem.....Update Just got my car back from dealers, everything working ok now! The problem was a faulty central locking control module which has been replaced under warranty. Also had my central locking set up to auto-lock, much safer knowing nobody can get in at traffic lights, etc. Only problem with my dealer experience being the car had not been washed, it didn't actually need it but thats not the point. As receptionist was gorgeous and very apologetic i let it go this time!
