JaffaCake Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 I personally think the whole Haldex thing is quite noticeable if you don't have the radio/fan on and listen out for it. I'm convinced you can feel the rear wheels engage through the clutch pedal too. Not something I'd really complain about. In fact not a lot I can complain about for the car. I know the fuel pump is noisy, but I always wanted a car that made that noise...strange I know. Some bass on the hi-fi would be nice though. dubzter Posted June 8, 2004 Report Share Posted June 8, 2004 I do notice that the gear change (when cold) from first to second can make quite a noise if you have the window open. It is quite a heavy metallic click/clunk as it engages. Sounds almost like a.............oh feck knows I don't know what it sounds like. Anyway I fitted my amp and twin 8" subs on sunday and now I don't hear much apart from some decent sounding tunes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
