richy_uk
After the experience in topping up my last car from new, which many people here have shared, out of curiosity, I checked the oil level on my new car earlier. I would have expected it to be at the top of it's limit, but it wasn't, it needed half a litre to get it to the upper limit mark !! Anyone else with a '54 plate checked theirs ? cosmicblue
I'll take a look - so that's why they show you the litre of oil in the bag in the boot then?
hashluck
LOL - check your tyre pressure as well guys, I bet they are miles out!!!! Litre of oil is of course supposed to be because with the new long-life oil you could go up to 30K miles between oil changes! We managed 23K miles in our A4 Tdi. UBM
Yes - but don't forget "you may damage your cat if you fill over the max mark!"
