MartinDower
Lots of posts on this. I have a 98 S8 with the Cullman kitted out armrest phone with a circa 1997 Nokia phone (Ooooo, so trendy) that is shite. I have (I think) identified the second generation phone kit I need for the Sony Ericsson T610 I have (SKU: 8DO 051 435 AH) and Audi Parts don't do one. So where can I buy one (or try one just to make sure). Help please as my friends are taking the serious piss out of me about the antique phone I have in the car. Thanks
Sven
Have you asked Cullmann? Dunno if they do a kit for the SE, but you could ask. They should be able to give you an importer/reseller address. Chances are the dealer will be able to supply this. I fitted a SE Bluetooth kit for the T610, but I had no Cullmann kit in my car anyway. Frodo
I sent a query to them about my A4 GSM kit and got a very quick response. Here are the details of the person that responded. MartinDower
I have asked and yes they do a kit for it but still haven't given me the name of a UK distributor. I have requested again and I will see what happens. For once, the Internet failed me as a search found nothing at all
Sven
As said, the dealer must be able to supply this if it's available for your phone.
PaulW
I would go with a Bluetooth phone kit if I had a chance. I won't get anotehr one without it. Check out this post for install notes on a D3....the D2 is just as easy, you just go into the back of the radio... And check this next design out, it will have a cradle to charge the phone and use the external antenna, but still talk to the phone via Bluetooth. The HCB 30 kit is about $160 U.S., but I have found a bunch of people on ebay selling their kit for about $50 with no reserve that are sitting around. I'm making a kit for the D3, so I'm buying a few up! The cradle and cable would be an extra $40 or so. And once you install Bluetooth in your car, you'll never need to add another phone system in there again, only a new cradle if you change phones....but it will work while in your pocket! Good luck! MartinDower
Thanks for the help but I want to simply buy the new cradle, take the old one out and plug in the new one. Should take 5 mins and gets me a sorted handfree with charger, privacy handset and an external aerial etc....

Fingers
With everyone throwing out the old Audi phones, does anyone have one in good nick they want to sell? Mine has some sort of dodgy connection and keeps going on and off if you do anything rash, like touch it... Oh, by the way, the Nogaro Blue beast has arrived! Pics follow shortly! I now know that Cullmann do the handset but Audi don't (for a Sony Ericsson T610). I am still waiting for an answer from them. I have had lots and lots of emails asking inane questions but still not the name of where to buy one in the UK. Idiots.

Sven
What's wrong with the Audi dealer to get this? Why all the trouble when you can simply get it there...?
Crusader01
Well thats what I thought too, however having spoken to my two local dealers I have discovered that would be hard pressed to tell me what day it was. However I spoke to Audi UK who faxed me a list of the available cradles but that doesn't reflect what Cullman claim to do on their Web Site. I am sure that it will all become clear eventually.
