coolesnce
Is the Privacy glass the BMW offers just a tinted Window, or is it glass that adjusts transperancy based on light?
cerbera
Not too sure mate TBH... Would have thought it's probably just a tint ? [/ QUOTE ] The last 2 cars I got from BMW had privacy glass and all it was just regular tints (not security or adjusting to light) Thats only my experience so I could be way off the mark....as usual

Have yet to discover glass in cars that changes tint according to the light. Even 'Solar Control' glass is a con, just a UV reflective surface, nothing more than that. Note the BMW 'Privacy' tint is in the glass, it is not a film, hence you cannot remove it. A customer rang one of my colleagues last week to say he didn't like his privacy glass, hence wanted to change every piece to regular BMW glass. He paid £4500...
