Perjot and Shitroen pulled out of the WRC to the surprise of anoraks today. In a joint statement, they admitted they had decided to cut costs in motor racing so they could spend more on "just being wacky and French." According to inside sources who may or may not be lying, spending on 'clowns and cheese' in Citroen offices has been increased by 200%. Industry analysts commented that they may want to put more money into their current practice of paying people to take their cars away from them.
