JasT
Does anyone know where I can get one of these cables fairly cheaply? I have the software (freeware), just need the cable now.
Fucawi
What you need is the standard OBDII connector and cable and then a serial connector for your Pocket PC with a null modem to join the two together. What Pocket PC have you got? I have a cable that connected my iPAQ 4850 to the OBD port. The cable is also good for the 5550, 2110 etc. Perhaps we can come to a deal with OBDII software for the laptop as well.
JasT
I need a cable for an Ipaq 4150. So what advantage does the laptop software give you?
BigMeanBob
If you can get a USB extension option on the IPAQ, the other option is to use a USB OBD cable....not sure how this would work driver wise though... b0b
Fucawi
More options than the iPAQ. 4150 has the same connector as the 2210, so if you're interested then let me know.
gambba
I use mine with the cradle and then a null modem adaptor cable into the OBDII cable and it works just fine...bit a pain of an arse with the cradle, but you can get the straight sync cables
