Ermmmm well its abit difficult as my parents have separate rooms, my dad doesnt care and his family hate my mum.

Shes always around their homes fighting and causing agro.... then comes home and gives us row row row row.

Its been a on going situation for about ermmm 10 years...... doctors, police and social workers have all been involved and in my eyes have failed.

Afterall if my dad doesnt care what can one do?

Riz, one piece of advice... move out. Get a flat or something of your own, then you can pick and choose when you go home and are ready to face the onslaught flack. I moved out pretty late in life at 27 and its something that I've never regreted at all. 169144-ok.gif

Let us know when you have the house warming 169144-ok.gif

Riz I know exactly how you feel, my mother has been a constant embarrassment to me for the last 20 years. She is an uncontrolable alcoholic who is aggresive, suffers mood swings and is totally irational. The best thing I ever did was move out when i was 19.

It sounds crazy, but despite loving her as my mum, I have grown indifferent to her behaviour to the point of not caring.

if you ever need to chat or let off steam, I am always handy for advice.

And remember don't let the situation get to you, I know it's hard, but it will help in the long run.

Oh yeah and about the police thing, my mum once rang the police to report that I had stoplen my dads car, when I was actually driving him around that day, ended up nearly getting arrested

Thank you for your post, means alot.

My minds in overdrive at the moment and strangely enough talking about it and being online keeps my mind running....

It helps to talk about it otherwise you just end up bottling it all up, which is what I did, and it really isn't good.

the thing I always find difficult is that many people think that I am being harsh and unfeeling about the situation, where in fact it really hurts inside.

As I said if you ever need a shoulder just let me know

This is how i feel... afterall she is my mum but what can one do?

I`ve always been a down to earth open guy and i prefer to be open about everything.... and your right it does help.

Its sometimes hard for people to understand how you feel inside... i dont mind as everybody has their own opinions.

I guess it doesn't really matter if people understand exactly how you feel, as no-one is exactly in your shoes. The important thing is that they are on your side and support you.

You've certainly always been open and honest on this site and I reckon you'll find a lot of people concerned for you here. 169144-ok.gif

Riz,

I don't know you personally, but you've always come across as a 'bloody nice chap'. I feel for you and your pain, indeed I too have suffered some major embarrassment caused by my mother, which has made me almost disown her a couple of times.

Getting out of there would be a good thing to do, however, have you thought about getting together with a couple of mates and doing it?? That way you get your own place, with the benefit of it not costing you an arm and a leg. Might be worth thinking about.

Anyway, I hope it all works out for you soon fella, and as has already been stated here, the boys (& girls) of TSN are here for you 169144-ok.gif

Thank you so much for your very heart felt kind words.... hugs. smlove2.gif

I had a call from my old work place today and went to see my ex boss. I might be able to get my old job back as a Epos Engineer.... this will at least give my options to think about.

Also this hasnt ruled out selling the R32 frown.gif but i can always get another car in the future...... company van/car might be on offer also.

The way ive always seen it, is that theres always some people in the world who are alot worse off than me etc... im lucky that ive had some nice cars... lived life at a steady pace and met so many nice people on the way....

Agree with everyone else - its time to move on Riz.

You really dont need all that in your life.

Sometimes these things are for the best in the long run.

My Dad kicked me out the house when I was 23 and it was tough for a while.

But in retrospect, it was probably the best thing he could have done for me.

Riz you've always sounded sensible just trust yourself and don't worry, because worrying's just gonna distract you from your situation. Give it a bit of time! I just moved home at it came be unnerving at times, but try and deal with it the best you can.

When you were saying that you might try and get your old job back as an EPOS engineer. Well i know they are recruiting EPOS people in Essex and you remember the thread on Essex birds! grin.gif

PM me for there details.
