UBM
Unblieveable! I "accidently" knocked some of the plastic fins from the dual central air vent in the A4 whilst trying to locate my PDA somewhere safer! I've sorted that now by making my own mount! Anyway, to cut a long story short, I whipped out the air vent from the dash and got the part nummber as I can't seem to fix it. Replacement from VAGparts £38. Replacement from my local stealer £58, and it will need to be fitted by us sir, total £142-68p. It will take me about 2 mins labour to do the job - what is going on? IanHo
You’ve forgot to factor in the learning curve of the stealer's mechanics, as they've probably never done it before. Then they'll damage the trim around the Air Vent & have to consult management + tea break time and then there's the privilege payment to the Audi Stealer for actually walking in the door. That's if they'll talk to you in the first place if you don't meet their strict dress code requirements. All in all I think you’re getting a good deal, so stop moaning!!!!!!!! SPLiiX
Does the PDA not cover up the broken bits anyway?? At least your car is unique. Nobody else will have broken bits like that.
