Waylander
i have found i increasingly like Outlook 2003 and plan to switch over to it for my email use from OE [so wifes emails go to OE, mine to O-03] I use the calender and address book already anyway. Are there any killer apps to recommend for outlook eg i saw "Neo Pro" which seems to be an inbox management system for the email. Does anyone also know of any app that applies the long-lost "add anyone i 'reply to' to the address book"? I am so used to this fro OE that it would be nice to restore it for outlook
cruiser647
The only one I can think of is Lotus Notes!!!
s4dreamer
Thunderbird?
Waylander
very droll. thunderbird would do as a mail client but it is the whole integrated contacts/calender/mail exoerience of outlook and frankly 2003 looks lovely [which is what really prompted me to want to change!]
s4dreamer
You could try Sunbird, Riz - it supposedly integrates with Thunderbird and Firefox, although is still in the early development stages at the moment.
Waylander
i have merely heard the name but as you said it is in early stages yet so will see. i love firefox and to be honest i think Outlook 2003 [even though i dont use it as default yet - OE is still my default email client with O-03 my calender/diary/address book] is a superior piece of software too. reluctant to hunt alternatives if they arent as good just cos they aint M$. mind you i am grateful for your giving me alternative options all the time mate I like the threaded conversations [ala gmail] and new reading pane in Outlook
