A New Addition to audipages

Yes, the first year was a 97 in the US. They imported the V8 from late 89 until 94 (and one additional V8 was imported in 95).

Then in 96 the A4 came out and then in 97 the A8.

The 97 A8's were slightly different than the 98 and 99's....some had the old dash panels that showed when the doors were open via a light versus the multi function display.

All 97's had the Delta radio where in Europe they had the Concert, plus they did not have tiptronic (I solved that problem!).

In 98 and 99, they were just like the 97 and 98 cars in Europe. No pre facelift S8's in the states.

Our facelift model was 2000, and the S8 made it to the states from 2001-2003. The D2 was imported from 97-03, we basically get everything Europe gets one year later.

The parts CD you refer to is most likely an old copy of ETKA, which is the parts software that Audi use. However it is just that, parts software, nothing else, itll give yu part numbers and general diagrams that help to identify specific parts but is not the same as say a Haynes manual. For this you need what they call a Bentley manual link
