Where is the Chassis number

Looking at yet another car this weekend - seems a goodun.

Just wanted to know where is the Chassis number so that I can call BMW to check the car is A-OK..

Also am I right in thinking that from 03 plates onwards there was no recalls?

Finally - Probably been done to death - but when is the new M3 coming out, dealer was on about late 2007! Sure its before late 2006?

Oh one more - same dealer said no coupe were coming out next month (E90) - again I think thsi is bulls###!
