OK, so I've now got the Neuspeed front strut braces fitted top and bottom. Car's a lot stiffer round the twisty bits. grin.gif

But does anyone have a rear strut brace installed on their R? I know it will will stop me getting a wardrobe in the back of the car, but that's not why I bought it.

Tried Neuspeed, EIP etc, but no-one seems to make them frown.gif

Forum member in the US with site at www.billswebspace.com/vwr32.htm has a Yarrowsport one fitted (see pic) www.yarrowsport.com but I can't get a response from them and all of the dealers listed on their site say they don't sell Yarrow stuff any more.

Thanks! 169144-ok.gif

No, it's OK. I've found a conversion that lets you run it on genuine Argentinian steaks.

Apparently when you bolt the engine into the R32 it'll do 18 cows to the mile...

Now if these steaks are as slow as the ones at the last Midlands meet we might have to vacate the performace car forum for good !! yelrotflmao.gif

Those turbos aren't big enough, anyway. I need at least 1780 bhp and 4,000 lb/ft of torque... tongue.gif

Hey Mook you slappa ma face slap.gif .....

I'll admit there were some bits missing of the meteor pic I got from a crazy dutch tractor pulling site but i'd pressed submit on my post too quick and did go back and edit.

Anyhow seems you may have been a little hasty in dismissing the little red power unit .... the turbos are plenty big enough ....

It's a Cummins QSK50. This is a 50.25 litre V16 and in "2100" state of tune gives 2100 HP @ 1900rpm which ticks your first box. Peak torque arrives quite high in the rev range at 1500 rpm and is ..... wait for it ..... 6095 lb/ft which I believe covers your 2nd requirement jump.gif

So I assume you will now be installing it before your next track day ...... looked a bit slow through quarry grin.gif (I was there very briefly and said hello to RS32 and JimmyP but could only stay for an hour .... think you were on track at the time grin.gif )

Although you might want to up the springs and brakes a bit as it's tips the scales at nearly 6 tonnes shocked.gif

Look forward to seeing you at a meet soon with it installed 169144-ok.gif
