beez
I'm not so miffed with them at the minute, I've done well to not think about her much at all today, but when I do it still sends me homo and emotional. But ta
saab
[ QUOTE ] I'm in more agony! My nose is bleeding and it won't stop!! [/ QUOTE ] Pinch it at the bridge with a cloth soaked in cold water. Or use a couple of corks. On the main problem I think it will take a little while to get over, but on the plus side I would consider it very ill advised to start university in a big city with a girlfriend back at home because there is likely to be a great deal of temptation and if you are single then you can basically make the most of it if you want to. Going away to university in Liverpool for me was a fantastic experience and I reckon Leeds will be much the same for you. Quite apart from Liverpool being a good place to be a stu-dee it was a long way from home and no one I had been at school with had gone there, it gave me the chance to leave the crap behind including a deteriorating relationship with my family (created entirely by my teenage unpleasantness! ) and a similar problem to yours with an ex and a good friend. By the time I went home for Christmas I was a completely different person - much more chilled out and a hundred times happier. So mate things might seem a bit shite right now, but soon things will be fantastic.
Catherine
Yep totally agree with that about having a girlfriend/boyfriend back home when you are away at Uni. Although I am not speaking from personal experience, I saw 5 friends split up from their partners because they fell for someone when they were away. beez
I guess you're right really. I'm looking forward to uni, because of the fact that I am going to be moving away from everything I'm lumbered with - all the silly things I've done and that kinda thing - it'll be a clean slate where I can be what and who I want to be. And the nosebleed thing, it stopped more or less instantly when I put an ice cube on the bridge of my nose...unfortunately that was about an hour after it started so I probably lost about a million gallons of blood. Give or take a couple.
Catherine
Good man, be grateful you have found out now rather than later. She really isnt worth it. You will meet women of all ages, backgrounds and intellects. You wont go far wrong with Leeds Uni, I was offered a place there and decided not to take it as I wanted to move away from home. beez
Heres an update on the situation: The guy she got 'friendly' with the other night wasn't my best pal - fortunately - but it WAS the guy her sister likes a lot, AND her boyfriend found out about it. She told me her sister wants her to die. I merely told her that's understandable. Similarly to her sister, if it was my best pal she'd done it with, I'd want them both to die. So I can totally see how her sister feels right now and refuse to give her any sympathy for everyone hating her.

MattR32
Stamped on the floor in extreme anger at the 56755576th night in a row of being kept awake by neighbours. Very, very stupid indeed! beez
That's a bit sh*t mate. Whenever our next door neighbours parents go away, they're always taking speed and dope and stuff being really loud, ALL night long (the only reason I think they're taking speed is because they don't go to sleep. The reason I think they're doing dope is because I can smell it) It pi55es me off, because my room is the one right next to their house, so it's even louder. I normally hurt my clenched fist though, but I know your pain! Sorry to hear about it bud
