Milo
Judging by how he walks afterwards he'll be able to smell what a fright he got.
NewNiceMrMe
I love the way he instinctively tries to 'palm' the car away.... He's one very lucky man (thankfully).
sayerbloke
The ironic thing is that if he`d been standing on the actual dirt track he wouldnt have got hit because the car had taken to the grass...

v15ben
Yep didn't do the macho image much favours with that walk back across the road. Especially after showing that he could push a moving rally car away
MOSE
I love videos like this. I also love the bike racing vids where guys loose control of their racing bikes and somehow seem to save it from crashing. Check this one out, it must be the most amazing recovery of loosing control of a bike I have ever seen!! Bloke saving his bike from crashing!! CarMad
Close indeed. Got send a video of a rally car coming off the road and rolling once. It actually went over the people at the side of the road. Most just got up and were ok some however didn't. Just goes to show how dangerous it can be as a spectator. [/ QUOTE ] A Welsh guy I used to work with was a massive rally fan and used to follow all the rallys across the Welsh countryside. He was always telling me(with a big grin on his face)how he nearly got knocked over by standing too close on bends when spectating. What some people do for thrills eh!
CarMad
Well a few people got killed on a hairpin bend on the international rally scene a few years ago when I driver got it wrong. And it has been know for service crew to find severed fingers in spoilers. People in some contries want to touch the car. Well they have done and lot their fingers in the process. NeilB
Watching the on-board cams of the Audi Quattro's in the 80's was just amazing. Watching all those spectators just jump out of the way at the last second just to get a glimpse of it. It was like the parting of the red sea. sayerbloke
Yeah, forget F1, rallying back then was a real test of skill and nerve for a driver. Probably for the spectators as well...
rhyds
I remember reading somewhere that the drivers used to say "there are no spectators out on the stages, only multi-coloured banks because if you see them as people you can't drive through the stages at any kind of speed"
