W4SIM
Hello all Im new here so i hope im not posting this in the wrong section. But i just have a quick question about the suspension on a MK4 Gold 1.9 TDi. Im managed to change the rears without many probs. However the fronts are a complete nightmare. I just wana ask how you would take the bottom of the strut out from the wheel bearing section. Is it absoloutely necessary to remove the driveshaft nut for this or can this be done without removing this nut. Any instructions and advice on how to get the bottom of the strut out or good advice would be much appreciated. Iv been running around ALL DAY today trying out all sorts of stuff and i just cant get the strut out. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!
