citizen Posted July 5, 2005 Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 I've noticed my rear parktronic now makes a high-pitched beep as well as the usual "normal" beeps. It still seems to work OK but I notice some paint is flaking off the rear near-side sensor and waving my hand near the sensor causes the higher-pitched beep as well as the usual beep. (Mrs has her foot on the brake, I hasten to add!) Can I just use some touch-up paint or is it "special" paint on these sensors? Will it have to go to the dealer to be recalibrated after?
