First kickboxing last night after a two month break (I broke my feet!).

Been going for a few years but it was a killer and I'm now crippled!

Can do a lot but last night was all to failure so NOT good.

All to failure with a partner - Keep alternating to failure.

1/4 push ups. Did 150, then 100, then 90.

Squats so your ar*e touches a school gym bench.

80, then 70, then 50.

Cruches - 100, then 80, then 50 then 50.

The we sparred for 20 minutes (exhausting)

Arms and stomach survived but I am seriously struggling to walk today!

Banana's have something in them that helps take some muscle pain off, problem is I think you eat them first!

You knew what was going to happen last night (well 75% of it). Proves you need more than just a bag full of padding to kick and punch! sportifs2.gif

Might I suggest frequent hot baths and some massage? wink.gif

Might I also suggest some stronger warm up routines and a 5 mile run on alternate days (or 15 mile bike rides).

Mind you, you might be training with the national team boys and girls. If so your fecked untill you either get back in or your body collapses.

Going out dancing tonight?

Oi oi!

I quite often instruct the class, we have about a 20 minute warm up, I cycle 12ish miles a day and passed a Royal Marines Potential Officers course a while back (and did Surf Life Saving Club Ironman comps).

The reason my legs ache is because I haven't been able to exercise them properly for a while due to broken feet.

Less of the lip sunshine. wink.gif
