benjie Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 As the title suggests - my suspension's knocking quite loudly, mainly from NSR, but a little from OSR. I've asked Shao Khan and he suggested posting on here as some of you may be able to tell me what the problem is. I was planning on upgrading my suspension anyway, found some here: http://www.elite-design.co.uk/ - click 'Suspension' on the left-hand side. The Eibach suspension kit and uprated springs (for my Golf IV TDi) are £308.97 which isn't bad, but I suppose VAT + fitting bump it up a bit. Is this the stuff I need to cure my knocking? MOSE Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 If this is Elite in Dagenaham (A13), then I would recommend them fitting the stuff themselves. Their labour charge is very reasonable and their workmanship is second to none. I have had one or two bits done on my cars by Elite over the years when I lived in East London. Then the suspension kit might not stop it, If you do go for the kit get them to put new top strut mounts in, But it could also be the inner antiroll bar bushes.
