shark_90
My A4's hunger for bulbs has turned now to the indicators, and my right front bulb stopped working the other day. I bought the bulb from Halfords and had a look at fitting it, as I've mastered the headlight bulb fitting, but it looks like I can't do it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do it, or do I have to pootle 25 miles to a stealer?
UBM
Shark - see my instructions in the essential collection. The indicator bulbs are mounted IIRC in a plastic unit which simply twists a 1/4 turn then comes out. Put the new bulb in the mount and twist back in place. UBM
You're looki for a small circular plastic mount directly behind the indicator bulb which has a piece of plstic coming from it at right-angles- so you can grab it and twist it! I don't think you even need to take the back off the headlight- but can't remember - I'm out of practice..
