Just got insurance quote post-chipping. Ouch. The man said "If you gave it a smaller chip it would cost less". If I bought a it would also cost less, doesn't mean its a good idea... If its 225 BHP now and you're looking for 280BHP thats 24% increase which falls in the 20-30% power increase category. Egg were good with me - but I'm now with the posh insurers!
