R32North
Not likely to happen on this forum mate!! People on here aren't too happy to expose ther car details online...... especially things like chassis numbers.
robin09
Can't understand why you would need one to be honest.
R32North
I hope this isn't anything dodgy, cos you won't be welcome here if it is !! And having thought about it surely you could simply pop into a VW dealer and ask them for details on the R32 suspension set-up.
robin09
Theres no reason a VW dealer would need a chassis number for that. They know the part numbers, especially for something that major.
FiftyPence
very dodgy indeed, thats almost like asking for someones passport number
jonnywilk
mine is 123345-ABC-98764, and my number plate is FU3CKR hope this helps. But if you want you could just come and steal my car and then you could take the suspension of it!

helfinger
don't you need a r32 chassis number so you can buy R32 parts? i think i'm right you know or they wont sell you them...........
Riz
Yes IIRC you need your VIN to obtain oem R32 parts from your dealerships, there might be some who will bend the rules though. Also try Vag-parts! they could be cheaper? Riz
Dan32
I thought that was BMW M3s and 5s. I've bought bits for mine without chassis number. I think a number would be asked for to make sure they get the correct part for year of manufacture and not necessarily for brand security. And Abul3is, its suspenSion not suspenTion. Why bother with R32 suspension anyway. It would surely be cheaper to go the aftermarket route and then you could set the car up how you want it i.e ride height, damper adjustment, spring rates. The R only sits a little bit lower than the standard V6, although we get nice blue coloured springs!
Mook
If you buy a complete suspension set-up from VW, you will pay an absolute fortune for it If you wait a couple of months you can buy my current suspension from me as I am replacing it all with a Bilstein PSS9 adjustable set up, so the front and rear springs and dampers will be up for grabs. Check the TsN classifieds oe eBay at the beginning of September. Alternatively, try getting a suspension upgrade kit for your V6 4Mo from someone like www.amdtechnik.com or www.bigboystoys.co.uk HTH
