smoothy
Has anyone fitted one of these to an S3? I know a guy who has one on his 1.8t golf and it looks and sounds the busness but I hear he has been plagued with air flow meter problems. Maybe nothing to do with the CAI but thought I'd put the feelers out and see what the general thought on them was! Do they make a difference? I thought it might be a good idea to do before a remap. FiftyPence
I have one on my R32 and it sounds awesome when mated to the Milltek exhaust system with ST centre section. The airflow meter is an issue on the 1.8T Golfs i believe and not anything to do with the Carbonio itself. basically if you fit any aftermarket CAI or airfilter you may run into problems with the MAF. Srobbo18
The problem is that the oil off the filters block the MAF meters it happened to mine with a k&n induction kit. Using a full stainless steel air filter that needs no oil may heip this prob
