Some cars have "driver information system" and on others it says "computer" the computer i take it is the average mpg, average speed, journey time ect, display in between the rev counter and speedo. is the driver information system different?? cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
R32North Posted September 1, 2005 Report Share Posted September 1, 2005 Nah, DIS is the onboard computer that tells MPGs, Miles, Time, Temp, etc etc. One in the same thing. The DIS differs from make to make and within the model range, and if you've got Sat Nav etc but all in computer and DIS are the same thing.
