Part of the Macdonald Hotels Group its quite remote, but can be used as a base for cycling, walking, watersports etc and well worth the drive. Some fantastic roads around the area! Rooms were well kept, clean and decorated recently. Bar meals were good and the restuarant did an amazing array of meals with fairly traditional meals or more exoctic french style cuisine.The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Plenty of on site parking is available. Not much in the way of local amenities, although as mentioned if you are into the outdoor pursuits, you won't be disappointed.
