mrzed
My car has a polymer coating so doesn't need waxing for a year, in theory. I went for a bit of a roadtrip last month and managed to kill a bazilion bugs. Problem is, when I went to wash the car the other day it came up all nice and shiney but with all the bugs stuck on. Is the detrergent I'm using gutless, it's for use on polymered cars, or am I just not putting in enough elbow grease?
NeilB
Have you got a wash mit with a bug remover? If not try one from C&S, should sort the problem out.
dogard
as an ex biker, i became a dab hand at removing bugs from the front of vehicles. i found the best method was to soften the bugs by wetting towels or cloths or chamoises and laying them on the bug infested areas for an hour or two. you can then just wipe them off without marking the paintwork, which would surely happen if you tried to remove them when they are still hard.
