mixit
Just wondered if anyone else has had a problem removing these circles from their windscreen. There are 4 or 5 on the inside of my screen and after various glass cleaning applications and much rubbing, they are still visible when the inside temp drops or when the air con is blowing cold up the screen..... gribs
I didn't realise what these were. I'm pretty sure they're on the outside of mine. Had the clay bar on them a few weeks ago and fairly sure they've gone now.
RedRobin
I hadn't noticed them at all....Will have to look. The Robot Octapusses are at work.
jamiepointer
I noticed these as well. Still there even after using autoglym glass cleaner.
mixit
Not sure what the robots have been eating but their suckers leave a nasty residue that is very hard to remove. My GT TDi had em too and at PX time after 10 months of ownership, they were still slightly visible.
silentandy
Yep, I see them occasionally as well. I've tried polishing them out but it's made no difference.
GTiMK5
Yep, got them on mine too. Only notice them at certain times but agree they are a nightmare to get rid of.
RedRobin
Whereabouts are they and about how many and what size please?
GTiMK5
They are all over the windscreen, maybe 6 of them and about the size of a saucer. You cant miss them in the right light.
allgolfdup
I noticed these earlier on in the week!..apparently they arent sucker marks at all....some source told me that they are extremely thin wiring receptors lazered into the windscreen..apparently they are what allows the car to know if and how hard it is raining and not the black receptor on the other side of the rear view mirror...!?!?!?!?! RedRobin
Are they about 1 inch diameter and in lower corners of the windscreen? They don't look like wiring to me....More the appearance of condensation.
mixit
They're bigger than 1 inch Robin.. more like 4 inches
RedRobin
Hey Mixit!! If it wasn't for the standard rear Holly Valance and not Milltek's pipework, that Red car and plate looks suspiciously like mine! On 18s I think though. Not Xenons either, I think.
