mrzed
The wheels I ordered from AmD have finally got here. The problem now is the offset. Their site says they have a 48mm offset but the wheels they sent are 40mm. Are these going to rub? Should I send the m back and tell them to sort their out? mrzed
I phoned AmD, who curtly told me they would fit. So I fitted them. They look good. Might need those fender arch covers on the front but the rear looks fine. Until you drive it. The wheel hits the screw holding the rear bumper at the slightest hint of an undulation. Seeing as I've fitted them and driven on them, albeit only about 700m, I'm guessing they won't take them back. So I'm going to take it to a local tuning shop ind get the air-saw out and have a go at the plastic covers inside the wheel arch and change the screw on the bumper to something less obtrusive. If that doesn't work... Merry Christmas everyone
