mainy
Hi Kam1 This has absoloutely no performance benifit for your car at all. They have developed it just for the sound alone Not my cup of tea but whatever floats yer boat
Kamalphull
I know that the dump valve will not improve my performance, I just want one because i love the sound! But i heard that some dump vavles can reduce power. Is this the same with this dump valve? also dump valves normally cost quite a bit more than that,im not sure why this one is so cheap? are they hard to fit? thanks
Cupramax
They're in the process of doing a switchable one so you can turn it off come service time... Its cheap because its not an actual valve, it sits between the factory valve and the turbo and retails factory operability. Theres a diagram of it on Forge's website. mainy
Kam AFAIK this is just an inline valve. I've no idea where it requires to be located but I can tell you that replacing a DV on a 1.8T engine takes all of 5-10 mins if you know what you are doing so I cant imagine it would be that difficult

Mollox
Need to be careful here. I know they're different engines, but the valve on the 1.8T is a recirculating/diverter valve as opposed to an "pssshhhhh" ( ) atmospheric release "blow-off" valve and I think you can't put a blow-off onto a 1.8T... Check before you buy!
Cupramax
Correct, 1.8T's dont like vent to atmosphere valves. The 2.0T one works a treat though. I've driven Forge's demo car with it on and it sounds great.
