Pincher
Just hoofing around ebay and put in a bid expecting it to be beaten - got one for £142, brand new! Fair enough but what is all this business about 1.5 firmware being the best because of homebrew? Whay the heck is homebrew? Also, the description mentions 1000K - what's that?? Turrican
Homebrew means you can run programs written by home coders. See www.psp-hacks.com for stuff you can download (Doom, Emulators etc..)

I bought a Japanese one in September as I had two 7 hour flights coming up and couldn't get a UK one.
Botang
If you want to play GTA - liberty City Stories then I think you have to update to the latest firmware anyway, it comes on the disk. As far as the Japanese spec goes the only problem you may have is reading the manual, the disks are all the same I believe. Warranty may be an issue to if it packs up. Sparky
This is also true when playing Pro Evo 5. It requires the upgrade too.
