david_d
I'm not impressed, visually it just looks like the current A3 with the S-line body kit.

david_d
I'd be very surprised if they offer the 19" BS7 RS4 wheels on the S3.

[/ QUOTE ] I wish! they were a rather expensive option (well in the UK anyway). UK S3's had 17" Avus wheels as standard. Keep up!
Simonl
I thought they were standard on the late facelifted cars, the same time they became standard on the TT.
Wallachie
[ QUOTE ] what about the facelift 'post 01' [/ QUOTE ] £1800 option, but some the run out models had them standard (53 plates I think). The standard wheels on the new S3 are 18" and look very similar to the new RS4 wheels. Check them out in Scotty's post 'Real S3 News'.

The new A3 came out on 03.

Simonl
Cheers Drill, it's nice to know someone appreciates some time well spent creating a 'chop' for the good of the board. As for the others, i'll reduce the alloys by 1" to make them not the official RS4 ones....
Wallachie
It's hard to tell from this photo, but I think there is an exhaust on each side of the rear valence, anyone else think so too?
Mollox
Hmm, I think there's a definite groove where an arc is carved out of the rear valance but I can't see anything protruding like the exhaust is on the other...hard to tell mind... Wallachie
LeMan - thanks mate, those wheels definitely help the look of the car, but Imola yellow just looks horrible IMO.
Chrisg
Can't see that 272 bhp is that special - every tuner is already at this sort of level Already mentioned : apparently the new TT has the new system 40/60 so cannot see why the A3 range as a whole will not get it I think the TT 'estate' looks more interesting.... and I thought that it was pretty awful when I first saw it ( it still is really). A remap on the new S3 and you're well over 300bhp, if you don't thing that is 'special', then you're not easily impressed and must drive a millenium falcon at the weekends..... Cupramax
Yeah, a remap on that is going to turn it into a real cracker.
