shark_90
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You just wouldnt buy an audi [/ QUOTE ] Why? They are the only reason I'm here.... [/ QUOTE ] Citroen AX [/ QUOTE ] My current priorities and a house to develop alongside the one I live in and more thought to retirement. An S4 would be nice, but it isn't going to put money in my pocket and help me jack in the day job before I'm 30 so I can do my own thing. All in good time. All in good time. Ian [/ QUOTE ] Ian, will you ever achieve that? Stop fantasizing and start living. You might get hit by a bus tomorrow and then you will never have experienced the one thing you seem to keep aspiring to. Jack your job in at 30, and see just how little money you have and how bored you'll be!
Ian_C
[ QUOTE ] Jack your job in at 30, and see just how little money you have and how bored you'll be! [/ QUOTE ] The reason it is essential to change job roles at some point - I cannot work 54 hour weeks for the rest of my life. Fine now whilst I'm young and loving the paper chase though! CabGirl
I agree - you may live to 90 so you need some good earning years to build your retirement fund. Unless you're lucky, 10 good working years can't fund 60 years of retirement. And (back on topic ) if you get through tyres like Ari you'll need to work until at least 87. richspeight
I suggest if Ian_C wants to retire at 30, he should open a Kwik Fit franchise at the end of Ari's road...
