sayerbloke
I work on an industrial estate. The council recently decided to paint yellow lines everywhere, making parking difficult for anyone who isn't an employee. Sometimes they send out a warden, who will go around ticketing people. Glanced out the window earlier and saw a white van across the entrance to our carpark [and the yellow lines]. I considered that inconsiderate parking because if he'd have left it a couple of feet further back he would have still been on the lines but on a raised bit of pavement and not blocking our carpark. A couple of hours later and it's still there. Another car is now a few feet in front of it. Standing between the two is a traffic warden. He tickets the car in front... and then gets in the van and drives off! What has he been doing parked up [illegally] these past few hours? I just spoke to someone downstairs and they said they'd seen him going around and checking tax discs of all the cars parked in people's car parks. Whatthef#ck? Sounds like a real efficient use of time... Can they even do that?
Regulator
he was probably standing around the water machine telling jokes.

Bounce
we got a ticket a few years back via a traffic warden for having no tax, we had just completly forgotten to renew it
collease
at my work they have bought wheel clamps as we had a spate of people parking in our carpark and going shopping. Irritating as its not really big enough for thoughs that use it anyway. These cars now get clamped if they are not visitors or members of staff. Perhaps you should get one for your work and if you see it come back and illegaly park again go clamp it and charge him to realease the vehicle. mccombie_5
I'd of taken a picture and sent it to the local rag. If the car is in a private work's car park, the traffic warden cant ticket it for having no tax can he?
ian_m
JS, yes Traffic wardens can and do check tax! They are usually the ones that inform the DVLA and get car clamping organised
