18ME
I use autosol too which is fine for regular grime but on some older cars I've resorted to fine wire brush attachments on a dremmel. I also use it with the polishing mops to get into the awkward arts.
MikeA2B
This thread makes me feel a lot better after comments made to me about me spending ages when I clean the tail pipes, my missus thought I had OCD -escpecially when I had the rubber gloves on (trying an industrial acid cleaner)
Riz
[ QUOTE ] You guys really need to ask Riz about cleaning exaust pipes! The lad would clean them EVERY night !!! I sh!t you not ! [/ QUOTE ] Yup I admit it... I was abit anal about the exhausts and alloys on my cars... used to clean them everynight with a rag and used AutoGylm metal polish one a week..... using Shell Optimax was also good which made a difference to how much exhaust dirt came out of the pipes.... cleaner fuel. NewNiceMrMe
Well I've just come in from polishing the exhausts for the second time in 3 days - having washed and re-waxed the car for the second time in the same period....and covered short of 100 miles inbetween. I feel better though. It had some dust on it, somewhere.
