CarlOtt Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 Hi A friend with a Polo (W Reg) is having trouble with her door locks. Both locks (yes both I was puzzled by this fact) are playing up such that she is unable to lock the car. Can anyone advise? Also does anyone know if it is possible for her to get replacements - if this proves necessary without the added cost of having the ignition key and barrel changed? Many thanks in advance. daz60932 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 You do NOT(just to make it clear ) need a new key and barrel, as the door lock itself is a seperate unit. The lock cylinder will need to be removed from the door(s) while changing the locks, but they dont need to be replaced Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
