Dirtbag1981
Thinking about buying leather interior seats and door cards for my golf 4motion, how easy is it to take out the old ones and put in the new ones? any websites that offer instructions? mulkbear
The Front seats are straight froward to fit. 1. Pull the seat right back and at the front there should be two 13mm nuts remove them 2. Pull the seat all the way forward remove the small caps off both front seat runners and remove the Torx 20 screws. 3. Slide the seat all the way back off the seat runners 4. Remove the wiring from under the seat 5. Remove the seat. Rear seats. 1. Remove the seat bottom, by pulling it up and pulling it off its hooks. 2. Fold down the seat backs and remove the three 6mm spline bolts from each hinge. 3. The remove the seat backs. I am sure someone will know of a web site that will show you how to remove the door cards as it is very hard to explain with out pic's.
