Golf DIY car kit help

Hi all

I'm looking at getting a Mk5 Golf soon and wondered if I specced the Telephone prep kit I could use my phone with the MFSW and Sat-Nav ?

I have an XDA II (Himalaya) here is a link for the pinout's for the connector

I don't know if these 5 or so connections are fairly standard in terms of phone 'control'

Any of you out there in the phone/headunit install business that could help me out with (do) this project ?

I'd probably get a brodit holder to mount the device
