banny
Sometimes am having real problems getting into gear, when first pulling away. Today was at a junction and no way could I get the car in first or second gear, I somehow got it to go into third and that hard. I went and done some shopping and the car was alot better, could get all gears fine, maybee a little tough to get down the gears. I have already posted before about vibration and was told this is a VAG problem with the flywheel if you put your foot down too much at low revs in a high gear, so anyway can drive round that no problem. But not being able to get into gear can be a major problem. I must add, when car is in gear and in motion, it is no problem to change and also there is no clutch slip at all, even when you boot it. I should also add car has been chipped.
Dave
Good question mate! Could it be the synchro-mesh?
