Nelson_R32
I have managed to put 5 scratches on my n/s door glass with grit trapped in a sponge! They are only very fine scratches, but is there anyway Autoglass etc can remove scratches like these?
Nelson_R32
Oh, and I've now got a Lambswool mitt cleaning thing, so I won't have this problem anymore
shark_90
Try Autoglym glass polish. It's a (very) mild abrasive, so a few goes polishing with that and they might disappear if they're very fine scratches
Nelson_R32
It's a little too deep for Autoglym You can *just* about catch it with your fingernail
shark_90
That's a shame mate.. there must be something. Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly!
UBM
You shouldn't have been using a Sponge Nelson... Try using a glass cleaner - ammonia solution or acetic acid (vinegar) in water.... Do Megs do a glass polish? Would Scratch-X work?
Nelson_R32
http://www.glasweld.info/ Seems like a reliable place, but I'm just waiting on a reply from Ian_C to see if Autoglass can repair it

Hudson
I was about to suggest T Cut Glass Polish, which is a mild abbrasive, but with you being able to catch it with your finger nail i am not too sure it would work.
