Navplate
We have just finished beta testing our new Navplate website and would welcome your constructive comments and suggestions please. The site allows you to create a unique Navplate Splash Screen for your portable TomTom Satellite Navigation System and take a step towards reducing crime. Oops, plug removed! Thanks Simon
Mollox
I'm going to add my constructive comment by saying thanks for registering just to promote your site/business and point out that its against both the spirit of Tyresmoke and our Terms and Conditions. With regard to the product you're offering, I don't agree that its a valuable crime prevention measure - splash screens can be uploaded in less than a minute, making a custom splash screen redundant as a securty measure in my opinion. Additionally, there's no form of visual deterrent with this measure and furthermore, there are tons of splash screens available for free on the net. Anyone with a half-decent paint package can knock one together. Personally, I'd always advocate removing any trace of your nav unit and any traces (mounts, chargers, sucker smears on windscreen etc) and if further security is required then good old etching. A custom splash screen is NOT a security measure.
