Seat Trim?

Hi all, what do you guys think of the standard cloth seat trim - is it any good? I've only seen the leather interior in the flesh - thought it was ok, but is it really worth the huge amount of extra dosh?

Off to see the dealer today - see if I can strike a deal (slim chance!).. tongue.gif

Cheers,

Anthony..

2500? i'm sure i only paid 1900 for mine... i said only!!

i think when you come to sell them on though people look at leather as the prefered option... im not saying you'll get your cash back on it.. just make it more of a desriable car to sell.

worst bit is that for all that money its no where near as nice as the silk nappa leather that comes as standard on the s3. frown.gif

Where / when did you get yours? Is the standard cloth half leather also?

My interior is totally stock. Half leather/Cloth is standard fit. Be aware that it isn't the 'nice' leather you get for yr extra £2k or so, its more of a 'leatherette' look! blush.gif (see the pics)

Got mine as a company car so resale isn't a worry for me I guess, but as with most extras, I doubt you'd get your £2k back at resale time....

Having seen all 3 options in the flesh here's my tuppence worth....

Full Leather - personally I was very unimpressed with quality of leather and certainly didn't feel it warranted an additional £1900 of my wonga!

Standard - in all honesty, if this was the only option available then I think that most people would be happy enough with this (IMO). It looks fine and probably provides better 'grip' when driving hard on twisties....

Alcantara/Leather - the option I have gone for as it lightens the cabin, looks very good with the Deep Blue paintwork (IMO) and 'grips well'....worth £1200 (or at least better value than the full leather @ £1900!)

Just my thoughts fellas!
