safety69
Just a quick question about fleet insurance, i'm looking to do it for my family as it may work out cheaper, the fleet will be fully comp, my question is do the drivers still build up noclaims? ashleyminors
No they don't. Although I am assuming you have a company. You cannot simply bunch family vehicles together to form a fleet (not that I know of). If you are insuring the policy in the name of a firm, all the vehicles will have to be registered to the firm as well. In response to the question however, if you insure a driver on the fleet for several years say, and then they decide they want their own policy, your company (the insured) can produce a letter confirming that driver has driven for the company for so many years wihtout claim. Some insurers accept this and will provide that driver with a discount, although this will not usually be as much had they built up their own NCD on their own policy. Trust that all makes sense.
