Paul
tbh it sounds about right. It wasnt until recently mine dipped below £1k a year and i am 28! even then it was quite variable , and could have been just over £1K if i had took my renewal. kp090
ok thanx for the help... other option is to go with admiral for £1300 but they say they only replace standard spec so i loose my brakes etc.. cant decise what to do?
Paul
ive had quite a few years of insurance where mods are listed and not covered. I think they are covered now, but im yet to try and claim on it. The ones that do offer it, like greenlight, adrian flux etc, would probably hold your age against you. kp090
thanx, im just gunna have to live with it then coz that probably means my old insurance company wouldnt have done like for like? directline are quoting me 731 which is very cheap as me being second driver plus i get no claims bonus aswel, however when i did tell them about the mods they said i was too young to be insured... what exactly happens if i get my s3 insured but do not mention by mods? is the insurance void during claims or do they simply not replace the mods and only give standard spec bak to me? Paul
if you do not notify them of the mods, your insurance is void. that goes for your legal cover too. in short, tell them.
