Some may know that I'm in the line for a new car to replace the E34 which goes in the paper next week.

I've seen a nice M3, 95 but with 150k. It has full BMW service history and looks that part but would I be biting off more than I can chew with regards to parts and servicing ?

I've added it to my view list this Saturday anyway but would mind some help.

Big mileage could equal big bills if it's out of warranty and the vanos is gone Flush.gif

The one for sale is an E36 and is up for £5k. Who can I tell if it's got Vanos problems ?

To be honest a £5k E36 M3 is a very brave purchase....you need to get an inspection and if the vanos is shot (will sound "tappety") then run away...

For £5k you'd be better off with a nice E30 M3 to be honest.
